'How I Met Your Mother' Writers Can't Tell You Whether Or Not The Mother Dies In The Finale

'How I Met Your Mother' co-creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays gathered to discuss their show's series finale at PaleyFest on Friday, March 14, but they pretty much avoided all detail-oriented questions, including whether or not the mother (Cristin Milioti) dies in the finale.

Bays and Thomas initially stalled in writing the finale, but now the cast has shot the episode and all that's left are edits. Although, that's all these cryptic co-creators are willing to share.

Moderator of the panel Wayne Brady asked Thomas and Bays whether there was any truth to theories that the mother has been dead the entire time, to which Thomas replied: "I think one of the great things about 'How I Met Your Mother' is that it's surprising. It does really weird things sometimes ... We have been the worst interview in show business for years."

So, there you have it! Thomas and Bays are keeping their lips sealed, which means we are free to continue frantically speculating about every possible ending to the Mosby epic.

What did you think will happen in the series finale? Sound off in the comments.

"How I Met Your Mother" airs Mondays, 8 p.m. EST on CBS.

'Voyage Of Discovery' Explores Climate Change Through Science And Art (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

One Washington, D.C. based art exhibit is adding perspective and a breath of fresh air to a topic that's often saturated with scientific jargon and data -- climate change.

"Voyage of Discovery," a five-month exhibit hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, takes a broad look at climate change and explores how it has transformed the Earth. By providing an artistic interpretation of climate change and stripping away the data, visitors are transported to a shifting polar region that they are free to imagine on their own. The artwork includes a wide range of media, and features both individual and collaborative pieces by artists Michele Banks, Jessica Beels and Ellyn Weiss.

"[The pieces] reflect the artists’ responses to the transformation of land and sea -- the melting of glaciers and the thawing of permafrost, the movement of previously unknown species and microbes into the region, the dramatic shift of the color of the land from white to green to black," says the AAAS website. "The artwork takes a broad view of these changes; the artists are deeply aware of the damage done by climate change, yet intrigued by the possibilities of what lies below the ice and snow."

The exhibit runs through May 31. Scroll below for a sampling of artwork on display at the exhibit.

These Fantastical Photographs Of Shelter Dogs Prove All Animals Are Beautiful

Sarolta Bán is on a mission to make all shelter animals seen -- so she's creating images of them that are impossible to ignore.

The 31-year-old from Budapest, Hungary, specializes in digital photo manipulation. With her project, "Help Dogs with Images," she's hoping to bring attention to shelter animals that otherwise would not find families.

"There is a [low chance] for shelter animals to get adopted because they get little visibility," Bán told The Huffington Post in an email. "That's why it's a really great idea that everybody can be a hero with a single iPhone if they take a picture of a shelter dog, and upload it to the Internet."

From now through March 31, Bán is accepting user-submitted photographs of abandoned animals who need a home, so she can continue to grow her project. You can submit high-resolution photos here.

Below are a few images from Bán's series. To view her full project, you can visit her website here.

'Tyler Perry's The Single Moms Club' Box Office Falls Short

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Street racers couldn't catch a time-traveling dog and his son at the multiplex this weekend.

Though Disney's "Need for Speed" was expected to take the No. 1 position at the box office, DreamWorks' "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" took the lead, with the action film in third place. The animated movie, about the adventures of a genius dog and the human son he adopted, earned $21.2 million, according to studio estimates released Sunday. Debuting last weekend at No. 2, the 3-D kiddie-jaunt features voices from "Modern Family" stars Ty Burrell and Ariel Winter.

"Our midweek numbers were very strong, indicating good and positive word of mouth," said Chris Aronson, president of domestic distribution at Twentieth Century Fox. "If anything, this is exceeding (expectations). It's a combination of likable characters and it's a nostalgia play for those who are familiar with the show."

Mr. Peabody and Sherman first appeared in the 1950s and early 1960s on "Peabody's Improbable History," a segment within the animated television series "Rocky and His Friends" and later "The Bullwinkle Show."

"The family marketplace is giving every other genre a run for its money," said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for box-office tracker Rentrak. "But the St. Patrick's Day effect could be at play here, where families had to exercise their options at the theater rather than the pub. That may have paid off for 'Mr. Peabody.'"

Meanwhile, analysts predicted that "Need for Speed," based on the popular EA Entertainment video game and starring "Breaking Bad" alum Aaron Paul, would come in at No. 1 this weekend. But with $17.8 million, it arrived at No. 3 in the U.S. But the movie raced to the top of the international box office, bringing in $45.6 million.

Warner Bros.' warrior drama "300: Rise of an Empire," the 3-D sequel to 2007's "300," dropped to second place, with $19.1 million, after debuting at No. 1 last weekend. Though its opening haul of $45.1 million pales in comparison to the original, which debuted with $70.9 million, "Rise of an Empire" has earned more than $78 million since its debut.

Tyler Perry's "The Single Moms Club," starring Nia Long and Amy Smart, opened with $8.3 million at No. 5.

"This is one of Tyler Perry's lowest debuts ever, but he cranks out hits every year for almost decade," Dergarabedian said. "He's allowed a couple of missteps every once in a while."

Leading the year's early trend of films about religion, Fox's "Son of God" grossed $5.4 million in its third weekend. After opening at No. 2 with $26.5 million, it dropped to No. 5 in its second week, earning $10 million. Its performance may indicate that religious stories aren't holding up at box office. Plus "Son of God," starring Diogo Morgado, lacks star power.

However, other upcoming films with a biblical thread feature leading men who are more likely to get viewers to theaters. "Noah," out March 28, stars Russell Crowe. And later this year, in the Ridley Scott-directed "Exodus," we'll see Christian Bale as Moses.

Playing in only 66 theaters, Wes Anderson's "Grand Budapest Hotel" landed at No. 8 with $3.6 million. When it opened last weekend, the stylish comedy showed on just four screens in New York and Los Angeles. Still, it impressed with $200,000.

Rounding out the top 10 is the Kristen Bell-starring cult-TV-show-turned-feature "Veronica Mars." Its $2 million debut was impressive considering the film's funding came from a crowdsourcing campaign, the first high-profile project to do so.

Also opening this weekend was Jason Bateman's directorial debut "Bad Words." Showing in only New York and Los Angeles, the comedy earned $120,000, one of the biggest per theater averages of the weekend, with $20,000 per movie house.

Sci-fi action movie "Divergent," based on the Veronica Roth's young adult novel and starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet, stands to knock every other film a place or two down when it debuts next weekend.

See Angelina Jolie's Daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, With Her Mom In 'Maleficent'

"Maleficent" doesn't arrive in theaters until May 30, but don't tell that to Disney. The studio has begun its marketing push for the fairy tale, with a new trailer, new poster, Entertainment Weekly story on star Angelina Jolie and this photo below, of Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. The youngster plays Princess Aurora as a child in "Maleficent," and was cast because she was the only kid who could stand seeing Jolie in full Maleficent makeup.

"We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors," Jolie told EW's Anthony Breznican in a new interview. "That's not our goal for Brad and me at all. I think we would both prefer that they didn’t become actors. But [Vivienne] was 4 at the time and other 3- and 4-year-old [actors] really wouldn't come near me. Big kids thought I was cool! But little kids really didn't like me. So, in order to have a child that wants to play with [Maleficent] but I don't want to play with her -- to have that scene, it had to be a child that really liked me and wasn’t afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv."

The accompanying photo is taken from an Instagram message sent to me by the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. I asked him, like I’ve asked many other artists, simply to write something in his or her own handwriting –- a disappearing art in the digital age.

The project started when I read an article by Umberto Eco who lamented the disappearance of handwriting among kids. When I read that over breakfast I thought that is totally true, everything happens on a computer now. I thought it would be interesting to find ways to re-introduce handwriting to the digital age. A few days later I was in the studio of Ryan Trecartin in Los Angeles with writer Kevin Mc Garry when Ryan said you should join Instagram. All of a sudden he took my iPhone and downloaded the app onto the phone. He took a photo of me with his phone and put it on his Instagram account. I didn’t know what to do with my account. I came back to Europe, it was December, and went on Christmas vacation with the great artists and poets Etel Adnan and Simone Fattal at the sea in France. We started speaking about handwriting and I thought for the first time I could post sentences. I meet great artists, writers, scientists and architects and I saw I could post their writings. A sort of visual tweet put on Instagram and then also on Twitter. It became a ritual. I believe in rituals. Now every day I post at least one thing on Instagram. For me, it is kind of a movement of some sort.

As part of this movement, from time to time, The WorldPost will post these ritual celebrations of the beauty of handwriting.

Farrah Abraham Releases 'Blowin' Video, Uses More Auto-Tune Than Previously Thought Possible

Former "Teen Mom"-turned-porn star Farrah Abraham has released a video for "Blowin'" -- and, no, it's not about that.

It's no secret that the 22-year-old had dreams of pop stardom. "Blowin'" is the follow-up to her 2012 album, "My Teenage Dream Ended," which included "Finally Getting Up From Rock Bottom," which was dubbed "the most horrible combination of sounds to ever be assembled in the history of audio recording" by Jezebel.

Well, haters to the left as Abraham sings, "I'm blowin' (I'm blowin') / all these bullies away / Celeburty, celeburty, celeburty / Being yourself is makin' you famous," on the new track, which is so heavily auto-tuned that it borders on chipmunk territory.

While Abraham doesn't care what the critics have to say, she told In Touch magazine she's “in no rush” to release another album, and (fortunately) views music as more of a hobby than a career.

NFL Wants M.I.A. To Pay $16.6 Million For Middle Finger Incident

The National Football League wants M.I.A. to pay up in a big way. The 38-year-old rapper famously took the stage at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show in 2012, making waves when she held out her middle finger to the crowd.

In new documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, the NFL is requesting $16.6 million from M.I.A. -- a massive total reached by claiming breach of contract, the tarnishing of the organization's reputation and restitution for the benefits M.I.A. allegedly received from the exposure.

M.I.A. herself is hardly keeping quiet about the lawsuit. She took to Twitter on Monday posting a photo of a document outlining percentages of her earnings that the NFL claims it is owed. "THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT ME TO SIGN," M.I.A. wrote. "THAT IVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR 2 YEARS ON TOP OF 16 MILLION."

This Stunning Home Is Exactly Why You Should Paint Your Apartment Black (PHOTOS)

If you consider yourself one of those people who wouldn't be caught dead using dark, moody paints, this apartment is ready to change your mind. From its luxurious accents and impressive artwork collection to its bookcased walls and urban modern lighting, one thing is absolutely certain -- black paint has never (ever) looked so fabulous.

And the wildest part? Before the bachelorette pad was transformed into the layered, chic space you see below, it was none other than a run-of-the-mill YMCA. The association reportedly sold the building in 2000 before it was divided into 12 apartments in 2003 -- one of which was purchased by the current owner, public speaker and advertising consultant, Cindy Gallop. With a little help from designer Stefan Boublil of The Apartment Creativity Agency, the well-traveled Gallop embarked on her two-year design journey during which she carefully selected the dark hue for the reason that "the art pops against it.”

“I had to build something from scratch, so I could do anything I wanted with it,” she said. “It is the first time I built something about me.”

But it doesn't have to be "about her" for long, as the impressive space has officially hit the market. In other words, for a cool $5.995 million the midtown abode can be all about you -- and who knows, that might just mean white walls instead. But in the meantime...

The black background makes any color pop. (And leopard, too.)

At this year's South By Southwest, Future headlined a day of music festivities for Spin at Stubb's BBQ in Austin, Texas. During the show, Future performed an unreleased track that he called "Good Morning," but Beyonce fans might call "The Song That's Like 'Drunk in Love.'"

"I was recording with this producer by the name of Detail. We were working on 'Drunk In Love,'" Future said at the concert. "We started working on this other record at the same time, and then once 'Drunk in Love' came out it pushed this song to the side. At the same time, it's one of my favorite songs that didn't make the album."

So, what gives? Was "Good Morning" the original "Drunk in Love," or vice versa? BuzzFeed speculates the tracks could be connected (both were produced by Noel "Details" Fisher), but notes Future's representative told the site he had nothing to do with "Drunk in Love." At Fuse, "Good Morning" is described as taking a "sample" from "Drunk in Love." Mystery! Watch above to come up with your own conspiracy theories, and here's Beyonce's "Drunk in Love," because cigars on ice.

'Busy Bea,' Bea Arthur Video Game, Released For Iphone

Your favorite "Golden Girl" is now forever immortalized in true 21st century fashion: a video game available on your iPhone.

The "Busy Bea" video game stems from a year-long daily Bea Arthur art project called #BeaADay by artist Mike Denison, who hand draws and/or paints the iconic Arthur infused with other pop culture references. A "Flappy Bird" style iPhone Game, "Busy Bea" builds on the work done throughout the course of this project.

"I hope that players enjoy playing a game that uses all hand drawn art, nothing digital, done in a style I have been referring to as 'FakeBit,' which sort of crudely emulates old school 8 bit video games," Denison told The Huffington Post. "I also hope that they get as addicted to the game as I have, if not only to see what else we have in store for the future... To me, Bea and her works, from Maude to the Golden Girls have always represented a push for change. Those shows were insanely progressive, especially for the times that they were on, tackling such issues as abortion and gay marriage. I would say that that sort of television helped plant the seeds for the progress we are seeing today."

"Busy Bea" is currently available for for download through the iTunes store.
