Get ready for some classic 1950s horror.
As is to be expected, "American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy has been elusive about what we can expect in Season 4 of the hit FX series.
But on Wednesday (Jan. 15), Murphy finally divulged a few details.
“It’s set in 1950,” Murphy exclusively told EW. “If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”
Although "Coven" (the show's current installment) is set in present day, the series is known to jump from one time period to another. "Coven" has some flashbacks to the Salem Witch Trials, and Season 2 ("Asylum") was set mostly in the 1960s.
Needless to say, we can't wait for more Season 4 details to emerge.
"American Horror Story: Coven" airs Wednesdays on FX at 10:00 p.m. EST.
